안녕하세요!

How are you?

I have come to talk this time about Korean. I love that language - but in comparison to my ability to speak in Korean with my Japanese ability - it's basically non-existent. But to me it's just... I find I can relate to Korean more than I can Japanese, because of the way its spoken.

What I mean is - when you speak English (Outside N.I) then you would say something like:

"Look In The Mirror."

You can hear the words separately in the sentence.

That's like Japanese - you can hear the words separately in the sentence. However - in N.I we don't so that so!

"Look In The Mirror" becomes -----> "Lugi Meer" but means the same thing.

So when I heard Korean I thought - I can't even tell what the separate words are! (Except for 안녕하세요 and Ne) So when I practiced out loud - it actually sounded Korean where as when I speak Japanese it sounds forced.

It's because we're lazy when we talk. I have a sleepy mouth.

Oh! And another thing jus came to mind! Do you ever replace words with another word when you cant remember the proper word for it? Like saying "thing / thingy" instead of whatever the object or person was?

My grandma used to do it all the time - I remember she said to my cousin once:

"Get the thingymajigger from the whatchyamacallit"

What? Of course she knew what she wanted. Towels from the Cloakroom! ^-^. True story.

I also speak Korean; yes, it

I also speak Korean; yes, it can be very lazy language. There are tons of contractions that seem unlikely to pull off in Japanese. The only Japanese "contractions" I can think of are like:

Nani + desu ka? = Nan'desu ka?
and
Desu + yo! = Desho!

Versus the Korean one's like:
마음 -> 맘
Ma eum -> Mam

나는 -> 난
Na neun -> Nan

나의 -> 내
Na ui -> Nae

가를수 -> 갈수
Ga reul su -> Garsu

And a bunch others

안녕하세요. 한국말또 공부해요.

Of all God's creatures there is only one that cannot be made the slave of the lash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.
