Phrases covered:
何か食べたいです。 nanika tabetai desu. I’d like something to eat.
何か飲みたいです。 nanika nomitai desu. I’d like something to drink.
The focus is on the ーたい which adds the meaning of ‘want.’
食べる -> 食べ -> 食べたい
飲む -> 飲み -> 飲みたい
Vocabulary:
Learn each word well before moving on to the next lesson
何か nanika - something
食べる taberu - to eat
食べたい tabetai - want to eat
飲む nomu - to drink
飲みたい nomitai - want to drink
です desu - copula (connects the words together often like our to be verb)
それじゃまたね! sore ja mata ne - See you again!

This is truly one of the better language podcasts I've heard. Short, sweet, and simple enough to grasp. Just one suggestion... It would be great if you included the dialog in both English and Japanese in the description description or lyrics windows. Or possibly include a link or the web address to the specific page on this site. Sometimes my ears have a tendency of mixing up sounds. Being able to view the words would help correct any pronunciation issues.
