MEANING: to deceive; to trick; to fool

EXAMPLE SENTENCE:

忍者は、人を欺くのが仕事だ。

にんじゃは、ひとをあざむくのがしごとだ。
It is the ninja’s job to deceive people.

 

NOTES:

の nominalizes the 人を欺く
