JLPT N5 Grammar: V+てください・V+ないでください te kudasai


 ABOUT: 

■  Please do (verb) [a polite request]

HOW to use:

■  (て form of verb) + ください

STUDY NOTES:

■  Simply add ください after the て form of any verb. To ask someone to not do something, use the negative て form: ないで and add ください.

EXAMPLES:

日本語(にほんご)(はな)してください
Please speak in Japanese.

ケーキを()てください
Please eat cake.


And a negative request.

話さないでください
Please do not talk.
